Voice and Acting
Born and raised in Chicago, Katherine is a native American accent speaker. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and Film at Columbia College, studied acting at Carnegie Mellon University, the acting conservatory program at The Steven Ivcich Studio and improvisation at Second City and The Groundlings.
In Australia she is a graduate in Voice Studies at Victorian College of the Arts.
Katherine works regularly with actors as a voice and dialect coach. She’s worked as a Dialect Coach for various theatre productions around Sydney and served as the Dialect Coach on the feature films, The Scrying and Infini.
As a seasoned voiceover artist, Katherine’s worked on Sea Princesses, series 1&2 (Southern Star), Zigby (Flying Bark), CJ the DJ (Kapow Pictures), Gasp!, Davincibles, Just Being Eve, Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs, Skinner Boys and Teenage Fairytale Dropouts (SLR).
Katherine is the co-founder and co-author of Hollywood Speak: The Australian Actor’s Resource Guide to Creating an Authentic American Accent.
