Fiona is an editor who has cut short films, documentaries and television drama. Fiona has taught editing at a variety of film schools including 6 years as Editing Lecturer at the AFTRS. She has provided transition training from FCP to Premiere Pro for editors at SBS TV and spent time as editing mentor at the Yangon Film School in Myanmar.
Fiona has been recognised with an Australian Screen Editors Guild award for her work on ‘The Science of Teens’ and received a nomination for the short drama ‘Driven’. She was editor on the landmark SBS production ‘Liberal Rule’ which won Best Documentary Series awards from both the ADG and AFI (AACTA). She was also editor on “Dancing Down Under’ which won an ATOM award for Best Children’s Series.
Fiona is currently President of the Australian Screen Editors (ASE).
